
LAHORE – The 2023 Asian Cup will take place in Pakistan and Sri Lanka from August 30 to September 17.
Co-hosts Pakistan were the first to announce their squad and Babar Azam’s team made it to Group A alongside India and Nepal. Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka were placed in Group B of the tournament.

Pakistan will face Nepal in the opening match of the 2023 Asian Cup in Multan. The tournament will be played in a fifty-plus format, with six teams divided into two groups of three teams each.
The iconic clash between India and Pakistan will take place on September 2 in Kandy. The six group stage matches will be followed by Super 4, starting September 6. The final will be contested by the teams taking the first two places at the conclusion of Super 4 on September 17 in Colombo. .
