A spokesperson for the Ministry of IT and Communications said that providing broadband services across the country was his top priority for the IT ministry.
He said the IT ministry through the Universal Service Fund (USF) has launched his infrastructure development project for broadband with about 70 Optical Fiber Cables (OFC) in four provinces at a cost of Rs 650 crore. . “All projects in far-flung areas are underway and should be completed by June next year,” he added.
