According to a recent survey by Junk Car Compare, Suzuki, Peugeot, and MINI drivers are most likely to have the highest IQs worldwide. The situation is different for Land Rover, BMW, and Fiat.
The company then gathered a sample of more than 2,000 British drivers to take a standardized IQ test, rank them by car brand, and record results for 22 automobile manufacturers. The study also identified the subgroups of the powertrain, car color, and personalization that were relevant to the test.
With an average Intelligence score of 90.14, Fiat owners came in second. The average IQ of BMW owners was 91.68, which was third-lowest. Land Rover owners were at the bottom of the list with an average IQ of 88.58.
The professionals at Scrap Car Comparison investigated car brands, as well as if a driver’s preference for a particular car color or even the style of their license plate could be a clue of their intelligence.
The results proved conclusively that people who drive white or grey cars—with an average IQ of 95.71 or 94.97, respectively—are more likely to be clever than those who choose less monochromatic vehicles. These conclusions were as clear-cut as those for the automakers.
