Despite Pakistan’s economy being on life support, imports of luxury vehicles continue unabated. The public of Pakistan does not agree with this reality.

A recent update claims that a video of a 2023 Range Rover that had just rolled off the assembly line went viral on social media. According to reports, the ultra-luxury SUV was brought in by Malik Riaz’s grandsons, one of Pakistan’s most well-known billionaires.

Owner of the Bahria Town housing societies and a number of other large-scale enterprises, Malik Riaz is renowned for his spectacular vehicle collection. His grandchildren apparently imported Pakistan’s first-ever brand-new Range Rover, demonstrating that they have similar taste in automobiles.

Despite Pakistan’s economy being on life support, imports of luxury vehicles continue unabated. The public of Pakistan does not agree with this reality.

The high-end luxury SUV competes with models like the Mercedes GLS, BMW X7, Cadillac Escalade, and other high-end luxury SUVs, albeit the film doesn’t go into detail about its variation. Therefore, Range Rover starts at a staggering Rs. 32 million; import taxes are not included in this price.

Because the Pakistani elite appears to be free from import prohibitions, many have started to question the Pakistani government’s goals once again in the wake of these images.
