After 20 years, New Zealand returns to Pakistan to play a test series.

Following their cancellation from the tour last year, the New Zealand cricket team made their first trip to Pakistan on Thursday.

The Kiwis will participate in three ODI games and two Test matches, both of which are a part of the ICC Super League. When the guests arrived at the hotel in Karachi, they were given “Sindhi Ajrak.”

New Zealand last played an ODI series there in 2003 and last traveled to Pakistan to play a Test match there in 2002. The current ICC Test World Championship champions will be captained by Tim Southee in the test series while Kane Williamson will captain the ODI team.

Today will be spent relaxing, and tomorrow training in Karachi will begin. On December 26, the first test match will start. It will be Pakistan and New Zealand’s first encounter in any format since the semifinal of the 2022 T20 World Cup, where Pakistan won and advanced to the final.
