Shahid Afridi, a former Pakistani cricketer, has acknowledged that he spoke with Amir to reprimand him for his behavior during Karachi Kings’ opening two games of the eighth HBL Pakistan Super League season. Amir lost his cool during the Islamabad United vs. Karachi Kings game on Thursday.
The young batsman, Hassan Nawaz, made an attempt to take on Amir on the opening delivery but was unsuccessful. It infuriated the left-arm pacer, who then briefly spoke with the young batsman. After dismissing Nawaz, Amir later gave him a farewell.
Amir and Tom Curran got into a heated disagreement while playing the same game. Speaking on a local TV program, the former all-rounder reportedly cautioned the left-arm bowler not to ruin his name with unnecessary antics.
