The national anthem will reportedly be sung by Pakistani singer Aima Baig at the Pakistan Super League 2023 (PSL 8) tournament’s opening ceremony, which is set to begin on February 13th, 2023, in Multan.
Following Aima Baig’s rendition of the National Hymn during the PSL 2023 opening ceremony, a star-studded lineup consisting of Shae Gill, Asim Azhar, Abdullah Siddiqui, and Faris Shafi will play the official PSL 8 2023 anthem live.
It is important to note that the PSL 8 anthem’s practice performance was leaked on social media and rapidly rose to the top of Twitter’s trending topics as fans eagerly anticipated the release of the year’s most anticipated song.
“Singing our beloved National Anthem on a massive platform like PSL is both humbling and challenging; the latter in that you are surrounded by thousands of fans in the stadium and watched by millions of users on screen – and everyone is super attentive because it’s the National Anthem,” the author says.
