Awarded Low-Cost Airline of the World is Air Arabia

The first low-cost airline serving the Middle East and North Africa, Air Arabia, has been named “Low-cost Airline of the Year” at the 2023 Aviation Achievement Awards. The award honors Air Arabia’s great passenger experience, operational performance, cost-effectiveness, innovation, safety, and increase in revenue.

Air Arabia’s Group Chief Executive Officer, Adel Al Ali, said: “We are thrilled to be named the ‘Low-cost Airline of the Year’ at the Aviation Achievement Awards. This demonstrates the effectiveness of our customer-centric strategy in providing our customers with services that are dependable, economical, and value-added. Our dedication to innovation and operational excellence is at the core of this.

Air Arabia expanded its global network by 24 additional routes in 2022 from its operational centers in the United Arab Emirates, Morocco, Egypt, Armenia, and Pakistan. The airline also received receipt of 10 brand-new planes, and by the end of the year, it had 68 Airbus A320 and A321 planes in its fleet, which it used to fly over 200 routes around the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe.

The most advanced and popular single aisle aircraft in the world, the Airbus A320 and A321 neo-LR, are used by Air Arabia throughout its whole fleet of 68 aircraft. The Air Arabia fleet’s cabin layout offers more comfort with one of the largest seat-pitch configurations for an economy cabin.

SkyTime, a free in-flight streaming service that enables passengers to watch a huge selection of entertainment directly to their devices, is also installed on the aircraft. The on-board “SkyCafe” menu offers a wide selection of delicious foods at reasonable costs for customers.
The 2023 Aviation Achievement Awards were presented in Dubai to recognize outstanding accomplishments and cutting-edge services in the sector.
