Batting coaches, PCB officials arrive in Multan to secure suitable location for second test

After a flat face at Rawalpindi, the hitting coach and PCB officials arrived in Multan.

They aim to create a good surface after horrible comments from the public.

A spokesman for PCB said the hitting coach and other officials had arrived at Multan on orders from his PCB chairman Ramiz Raja. Chief He Selector Muhammad Wasim is also due to arrive in Multan today.

Raja said he hopes to secure a quality pitch in the second test, he added. “We live in the dark ages of the Pakistani pitch,” he told reporters, adding, “It’s embarrassing, especially when a cricketer is in the chair.”
