Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the foreign minister and chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, stated on Saturday that encouraging business is essential to the nation’s prosperity since economic stability cannot be achieved without trade promotion.
He stated that no economic policy was created under the administration of previous President Asif Ali Zardari without involving the business community.
In remarks made at the laying of the cornerstone for the FPCCI Tower and annexe at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry House, he emphasized that successful economic diplomacy can support long-term economic progress, steady the trajectory of self-sustaining growth, and increase trade.
According to Bilawal, the world economy is continually changing. “I have long argued that businesswomen and men have distinctive traits that, in particular situations, make them good ambassadors.
They can close gaps between countries and promote economic cooperation thanks to their knowledge of international trade, commerce, and business, he continued.
The PPP Chairman stated that he thinks businesspeople can find their own ways to connect with one another and create solid economic partnerships, encouraging cross-border investments that can withstand geopolitical shocks. He also added that, in his capacity as Foreign Minister, he made efforts to protect and promote entrepreneurs’ businesses and their integration into the global value chain during his overseas visits.
