ECC approves bid for 580,000 tons of imported wheat

The Cabinet’s Economic Coordinating Committee (ECC) approved minimum bids from two companies here on Monday to import 580,000 tonnes of wheat via the ports of Karachi and Gwadar.

Federal Finance Minister and Revenue Senator Mohammad Ishak Dar chaired the meeting, a Treasury press statement said here.

Considering the results of the 7th International Tender and Government to Government (G2G) Tender, ECC has submitted a minimum bid of 372 USD/MT from M/s Cereal Crop Trading LLC for supply of 130,000 MT to Karachi Port. Approved amount. Shipping period from December 16, 2022 to February 8, 2023.
