Apple has revealed the iPhone 14 series, with one notable exception: there is no iPhone 14 Mini.
The small-screen iPhone has been phased out in favour of the iPhone 14 plus, a new 6.7-inch non-Pro model. For the first time since Apple’s standard and Pro deviation models, customers can now experience a big-screen iPhone without having to pay for all the extra high-end technology offered on the top-end Pro Max model.
There are now two distinct iPhone tiers for the first time in a while: the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, as well as the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
There are many reasons to be enthusiastic about the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus this year, despite the fact that it is excellent.
A new 12MP rear-facing camera with a bigger sensor and larger 1.9-micron pixels has been added by Apple, which the company claims will improve low-light performance by 49%. However, the ultra-wide lens is still in use.
There is also a 12MP front-facing camera with significant upgrades like enhanced low-light performance and first-ever focusing.
The identical A15 Bionic chip was put into every iPhone model last year. While the Apple iPhone 14 and 14 Plus received the A15 Bionic chip this year, the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max received the updated A16 Bionic.
The largest iPhone battery to yet is found in the 14 Plus model. Apple claims that consumers may watch films for up to 20 hours on the iPhone 14 and up to 26 hours on the iPhone Plus. We will have to wait till someone disassembles the phones since, as is normal, we are unsure of how much juice the batteries will store.
This Friday, September 9, 2022, the Apple Store will begin taking pre-orders for the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. On September 16, the iPhone 14 will be made available, but those who want the iPhone 14 Plus will have to wait until October 7.
