Harris Rauch unsuccessful in first remaining test against England

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Sunday that Pakistan pacer Harris Rauch will be unable to throw the ball in the first remaining Test against England due to an injury he sustained during the current Test series.

Rauch strained his right quadriceps after rolling the ball on the opening day of the match at Rawalpindi.

However, the board said the right-handed pacer could bat during the game.

Rauch is one of his four players to make his debut for the Pakistan national team during the ongoing friendly. In addition to the speedster, leg spinner Zahid Mehmood, hitter Saud Shakir, and pacemaker Mohammad Ali are making their first appearances.

It’s the first time Pakistan has played against his four players in one match since 2003 against Bangladesh in Karachi.

Almost 20 years ago Bangladesh during his test, Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Gul, Shabir Ahmed and Yasir Hameed made their debuts for the national team.
