On Thursday, Pakistan and Indonesia signed a grant deal totaling $1 million for humanitarian aid for Pakistan’s flood victims.
The chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and the Indonesian ambassador were present during a ceremony in this regard.
In accordance with the deal, the Indonesian government will provide $1 million to help Pakistan recover from its devasting floods.
Interventions in resilience and disaster preparedness might be funded in part by the award.
The ambassador for Indonesia reaffirmed his nation’s commitment to keeping up aid to populations in need in flood-affected areas.
