
In Karachi, the Sindh government introduced the “first-ever” Pink Peoples Bus Service in the nation, which will only be available to female passengers. The Transport Ministry is working really hard to protect and empower women who want to travel in Pakistan for the first time in a safe and affordable manner.
Sharjeel Inam Memon, the transport minister for Sindh, introduced the pink bus service. The pink bus service will travel from Model Colony Malir to the Tower through Shahrah-e-Faisal, according to Memon, who was speaking to the media following the inauguration.
Buses will operate every 20 minutes in the morning and evening during working hours, he added. The buses will operate continuously throughout the remainder of the day. According to Sharjeel Memon, initially four pink buses will start operating on the city’s inaugural route.
