Launch of "Talash" App by Sindh Police for Crime Prevention

In order to find offenders, the Sindh Police released the “Talash” application in Hyderabad on Saturday in response to the city’s escalating crime rate.

According to Aleena Rajpar, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Cantt Hyderabad, police officers are currently checking travelers using this app at the entry and departure points to Hyderabad.

The platform has the ability to save information on more than 1.5 million criminals across the province, she continued.

She claims that by doing this, the police are now able to use fingerprint data to confirm wanted criminals.

The project is helpful because, if speaking with a suspect proves difficult or time-consuming, a single tap will expose all criminal records.
