Former England captain Nasser Hussein called Pakistan’s pace team led by Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah “gold dust” and advised the team to manage their efforts properly.
Hussein stressed the importance of rest and rotation for his two young fast bowlers who represent Pakistan in all three formats. Pakistan needs to rest and rotate their fast bowlers. “Both Naseem and Shaheen are like gold dust and you have to be very careful when playing all three formats,” he said.
Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah Afridi were impressed by their speed attacks. They are expected to contribute significantly to Pakistan’s success at the 2023 ICC World Championships in India. Both bowlers will participate in the upcoming 8th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
