
According to the decision of the Steering Committee meeting held on February 22, 2022, all public and private educational institutions under the administrative control of the College Education Department shall remain closed on Wednesday, April 12, 2022, in observance of Youm-e-Ali (21st Ramadan, 1444).
To commemorate Hazrat Ali’s martyrdom, large-scale processions are organized nationally on Youm-e-Ali, the 21st day of Ramadan (RA).
Authorities were preparing strict security measures for Yom-e-Ali. The important parade will start from Nishtar Park and end at Imambargah Hussainia Kharadar in the province capital.”
People from Sindh, in particular, organize huge gatherings and processions on the designated day to honor Hazrat Ali’s (RA) life and memory. On the aforementioned day, there will likely be a lot of traffic because of the large number of people using the roads.
The government has officially announced the stated holiday in order to successfully preserve peace and order and assist citizens in avoiding any inconvenience.
