Hasim Hadi Khan of Pakistan won the Asian Cup Youth Scrabble Championship in New Delhi, India.
Hasim Khan successfully captured the title against India’s Madhav Gopal Kumath in the final. Hadi peaked in the final round of his three-day event, and in two days he scored 1420 points to take the lead from day two.
However, Monis Khan of Pakistan scored the highest with his 760 points against a Malaysian individual.
It is important to mention that the Asian Championship had 60 players from 11 countries and from Pakistan he had 6 players in the top 10. Meanwhile, Hashim Hadi came in first, India’s Madhav Gopal Kamath in second, and Affan Salman in third.
