Pakistan Navy warship PNS Tabuk has arrived in Qatari ports to provide maritime security support during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The mega football event kicked off on Sunday with a colorful ceremony held at Al Bait Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar. This is the first time football’s biggest event will be held in the Middle East.
Upon arrival, the ship was greeted by Pakistani diplomats and senior officers of the host navy.
The commander of PNS Tabuk said at a meeting with senior Qatari Navy officials that he discussed maritime security for the FIFA World Cup. His support for PNS Tabuk’s maritime security during the mega-event is a sign of confidence in the Pakistan Navy’s professionalism.
