
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) disclosed on Thursday that it has paid Rs 2 billion in taxes as a result of the successful organization of the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League during a meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Inter-Provincial Coordination (IPC) (PSL).
In order to resuscitate women’s cricket in Pakistan and promote initiatives to advance the sport at all levels without the aid of grants or other financial assistance from the government, the PCB chairman revealed plans to use Rs 7 billion of the organization’s earnings.
At the committee briefing, the PCB’s appeal for administrative control at Hyderabad’s Niaz Stadium was also covered.
The stadium was abruptly taken back by the Civil Administration in 2018 according to the information given.
The PCB administration announced their intent to seize control of the stadium.
