Price Drop of Rs. 22 for Petrol in Three Months: Ishaq Dar

According to Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the government has given the people the most respite possible on petroleum goods during the past two and a half months.

He claimed in a tweet that the cost of gasoline had dropped from 247.43 rupees per liter on September 30 to 214.80 rupees per liter, a reduction of 22.63 rupees.

According to the finance minister, during this time, the cost of diesel and light diesel oil was also decreased by 19.63 and 28.28 rupees per litre, respectively.

He claimed that in order to give the general public the most relief possible, the price of diesel was lowered from 247.43 rupees to 227.80 rupees per litre and the price of light diesel oil was lowered from 197.26 rupees to 169 rupees per litre.

It is important to note that the drop in gasoline prices by Rs 10 per litre was announced by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on December 15.

According to Ishaq Dar, the price of kerosene oil dropped from 202.02 rupees per litre to 171.84 rupees per litre, a decrease of 30.19 rupees.
