Along with other decisions regarding exams and the upcoming academic session, the Sindh School Education and Literacy Department (SE&LD) has stated that pupils in Classes 1 through 3 will be promoted to the following grades without taking their yearly exams.
According to the specifics, the choices were reached on February 22, 2022, by the steering committee of the Sindh Department of Education and Literacy, and on December 12, 2022, by its subcommittee.
The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department (SE&LD) circulated a notice stating that the Class 4 to 8 examinations would be held following Eid-ul-Fitr and would end on May 6, 2023.
Additionally, the new academic year will begin in Sindh province schools on August 1st, 2023.
The notification also stated that “action will be taken against defaulters in accordance with Section 8 (Cancellation or Suspension of Certificate of Registration) of The Sindh Private Educational Institutions (Regulation and Control) Ordinance 2001 (Amended) Act-2003 and Rules 2005”) if any school violates the aforementioned decisions of the steering committees.
