Justice (retired) Maqbool Baqar was appointed Acting Minister of Sindh on Monday, while outgoing Provincial Governor-General Murad Ali Shah and Opposition Leader of the Provincial Council Raana Ansar agreed on his name.
Outgoing Minister and Leader of the Opposition finalized Maqbool Baqar’s name during a meeting at CM House. They then signed and sent the notice to the Governor of Sindh for final approval.
Sources say he will be sworn in today (Tuesday 15th August. Sindh chief of staff will make an announcement appointing Justice (Retd) Maqbool Baqar as Acting Minister of Sindh.
