Ship Arriving in Gawadar with 50,000 Metric Tons of Russian Wheat

According to Pasand Khan Buledi, the head of the Gwadar Port Authority, the first of the nine ships carrying 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat from Russia to Pakistan arrived at the port (GPA).

Buledi claimed that arrangements had already been made in accordance with a contract to oversee the import of wheat between the Trade Corporation of Pakistan (TCP) and the Gwadar International Terminal Limited (GITL).

Pakistan will import 450,000 metric tonnes of wheat, which will be transported by 9 ships. The first ship, the MV Leela Chennai, carrying 50,000 metric tonnes of wheat, had arrived at the port of Gwadar, he declared.
