Sources say Turkey is displaying a scale model of its fifth-generation fighter, codenamed TF-X, at the IDEAS Expo 2022 in Pakistan.
About 28 Turkish arms manufacturers participated in the biennial IDEAS 2022 event held in Pakistan. Turkey and China were considered to have the most prominent presence at the fair.
They also reported that the marquee has attracted hundreds of visitors, including Pakistani officials.
According to the report, Turkish defense makers will showcase a range of products including military hardware, tactical mini-UAVs, light weapons, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity solutions.
However, they did not mention that a 5th generation fighter would also be on display. In addition, the design and technical specifications were presented in the banner.
The banner reads, “Turkey’s 5th generation multi-role fighter, developed using national technology and unique capabilities.”
