DAR ACKNOWLEDGES FULL SUPPORT AND COOPERATION FOR UAE’S AMBASSADOR

On Wednesday, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue, had a visit from Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al-Zaabi, the UAE ambassador.

In addition to discussing ways to further deepen and develop these economic connections, Finance Minister Mr. Ishaq Dar and H.E. Mr. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al-Zaabi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, discussed the historical and long-standing ties between their respective nations.

According to Pakistan and the UAE’s finance minister, senator Ishaq Dar, there is still much untapped potential in the sectors of commerce, energy, refinery, and petroleum.

The Finance Minister also emphasised numerous channels for trade and investment between the two nations in this regard.

The United Arab Emirates’ ambassador emphasised that UAE is fully aware of the current government’s development-oriented economic objectives for the nation and stated that UAE is eager to increase its investment in Pakistan in new economic areas.

The recent visit of Pakistan’s Prime Minister to the UAE and his talks with UAE authorities were discussed, along with the swift implementation of any decisions made during these meetings to advance the friendly ties between the two nations.

The Finance Minister welcomed the UAE’s proposal for a fresh investment in Pakistan and gave the UAE Ambassador assurances of the current administration’s full support and cooperation.

In closing, the Finance Minister expressed his gratitude for His Excellency’s goodwill and cooperation and expressed the hope that the two countries’ future relations would continue to improve.
